We know that not everyone's feet are the same. We also know that ill-fitting boots can wreck a ski/snowboard holiday. Often, small alterations to what's going on inside your boot can help keep your feet happy, save a ski holiday, and even enhance your on-snow performance. Knowledge gained over 20 years of fitting boots, along with the most modern boot fitting product solutions, is the basis for our reputation as expert boot fitters.

Shell punching helps reduce pressure on the feet in very localized areas. The outer shell of the ski boot is slowly heated and then expanded by hydraulic press or reverse-pressure press. Usually requires 48hrs. per punch. Rates vary, but start at $20 per punch. |
 |
A more subtle approach to the boot punch. Grinding is even more localized for more precise pressure point relief, but is also a reduction in the boot's integrity at the point of grinding. Rates vary, but start at $40 per grind. |
 |
Adhereing self-adhesive low or high density foam padding directly to the liner of your boot can aid in reducing heel-lift, ankle bone pressure, or shin bite. Rates vary based on time required and amount of padding. |

Nobody's having fun if their feet are cold. Circulation and warmth issues can be solved by installing re-chargeable boot heaters. Thermic Products is our boot heater of choice, and comes in a number of models that offer different battery/charger combos. Most have 3 levels of adjustment, to choose between lower heat and longer battery life or warmer toes and shorter battery life. Either way, charge them up in your hotel room/condo overnight and have warm feet everyday you ski! |
