Canadian Ashley Mcivor Wins Gold in Skier Cross!!

The Canadian Freestyle Ski Program is showing its' might at these Games, with another Gold Medal coming in Womens Skier Cross for Ashley McIvor. McIvor felt confident on race day, knew the course well, and pulled the trigger when it counted. We think the awesome Descente suit she wore that will be available at Out of Bounds next fall probably helped too!

Canadian Olympic Freestyle Team Cleans up at the Olympics!

The Olympics are underway, and Canada's Freestyle mogul athletes have done us proud bringing home a Gold medal in Mens Moguls (Alex Bilodeau) and a Silver for Womens Moguls (Jenn Heil). Our Alpine Team has had a tougher time, skiing hard but only scoring a 5th in DH and Super G from longshot Erik Guay. More events to come, watch for Canadians in the Ski Aerials starting Feb 21 and the Skier Cross starting Feb 22.

Ski Resorts Reporting Best Conditions in Years!!
Alberta resorts have been receiving constant snow since early November. Marmot Basin recorded their earliest opening date, with incredible snow and record breaking attendance. Reports from Sunshine were similar, while both resorts just keep getting dumped on!!!
