Out of Bounds is a professional ski and snowboard shop in Edmonton, Alberta. With over 20 years experience in providing fun on the snow, you can be sure that we've got the gear for you to get down. 	NOT ALL ROCKER IS ALIKE The word "rocker" gets thrown around a lot these days, but if you think all rockers are good then you probably also own the Winger boxset. Learn from your unfortunate 80's past. The truth is, there are hundreds of different variations of rocker on the market and not all of them are good for you...or even good at all. If you're new to the party, rocker means the tip, and often tail, of the skis or snowboard are elevated, which takes pressure off the normal contact points. Think rocking chair. It allows the ski or board to turn easier by reducing the drag caused by the contact point digging into the snow. Think it ends there? Rocker is very complex these days and you have your choice of full rocker, full camber, flat base, tip rocker with camber, tip & tail rocker with camber, tip rocker with flat base, tip & tail rocker with flat base... Confused? I don't blame you. Our staff has spent the last few years learning first-hand about every new version of rocker and we're here to help you find the right type for you. Because nobody wants to get stuck with a Winger boxset.

	SALOMON BBR: SHAPING THE FUTURE The Salomon BBR is a ski like no other ski ever made. An oversized, surfboard like tip and rocker shape enable the ski to float in powder and adapt to uneven terrain smoothly and predictably.
